 Fossil Ridge Alpacas is a full service Alpaca Ranch located in the heart of Northern Colorado's "Alpaca Country". We have 10 acres - 7 of which is irrigated pasture, a big barn, and Janet is managing the Alpaca business full time. Our goal is to develop the unique breed of the North American Alpaca, an animal of perfect confirmation enabling a long and healthy life, the fineness of fiber necessary to produce the most comfortable fabric, and vivid natural colors to make products come alive.
We offer animal sales, boarding, breeding services to some of the nations top bloodlines, consignment sales, education for new breeders, and lifetime after sale support.
We have a wide variety of bloodlines available on our ranch including; Accoyo Felix, Accoyo Leon, Peruvian Royal Fawn, Peruvian Matador, Peruvian Yupanqui, El Moustachio, Peruvian Dracula, Avatar, Peruvian Vengador, Legacy, and Request The Best. Our foundation females are all well bred with low micron counts and excellent confirmation. We have two up and coming Herdsires, Rumaki, a Royal Fawn Son, has placed either first or second in every show entered and Kanaka, a Avatar Son and Legacy GrSon who is just beginning his show career.Check out our herdsire page to learn more about all our excellent herdsires.
