 Loess Hills Alpacas is a member of the Ideal Alpaca Community. Ideal Alpaca Community is a group of like minded breeders who believe in the ultimate potential of the alpaca. We are joined together by common principles and goals. Our collective purpose is to raise genetically superior alpacas that produce high volumes of fine fleece. We track and monitor our heard and their cria's fleece statistics so we can make good breeding decisions.
Loess Hills Alpacas is a 40 acre farm located in the beautiful Loess Hills (pronounced "luss") of western Iowa, near Missouri Valley, and just 35 miles north of the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area.

| | Breeder Biography
My husband and I have been in the alpaca business since 2003. I come from a farming background having raised cows, pigs, sheep and horses. My husband and I both have college educations in computer programming and I am now managing the farm full time. We love the alpaca business and look forward to enjoying it for years.
