 DVZ's Alpaca Hideaway LLC was established in March 2001 after reading an article about Kinney Alpaca Farms in our electric coop magazine. We fell in Love with these docile creatures right away and started researching about Alpacas and visited farms for one and half years.
You can find us nestled in the Heart of Central Wisconsin, halfway between Plover and Wisconsin Rapids. In the beginning we started with 40 acres of woods and carved out our farm: from land clearing, barn building, fencing and planting pastures.
We are a small farm that takes pride in knowing our alpacas individually and handle them daily, so they are people friendly. Our females are breed to a variety of quality studs inorder to bring in color and diversified bloodlines, including Accoyo, Augusto, Hemmingway, Royal Fawn, Royal Inca Legend & others. You'll find Pure Peruvian, Chilean, and Pervian/Chilean mixes.
We strive to produce quality alpacas with fine dense fiber, correct conformaion, sweet dispositions and to get all the natural colors.
Any of our alpacas qualify for discount packages, and we co-partner with Rustic Ridge Alpacas for a greater selection of genetics and choices for our customers by making a package deal between the two farms. We offer boarding services for those who may not be set up for alpacas at time of purchase or for those that would like to invest.
Our farm also houses Victoria's Alpaca Treasures, a store devoted to offering end products made from alpaca fiber. Give us a call and come on over to see the luxurious sweaters, vests, socks, hats, gloves, scrarves, purses, Teddy Bears and yarns (for the enthusiastic knitters, crocheter, and crafters.)
