Your success is our #1 priority. The fact you are reading this means you are either an existing breeder or are in the ponder stages of becoming a breeder. There are many wonderful websites and even more alpaca breeders; but who do you buy from and, if you are new to the industry, where do you go to learn how to raise them? The farms to buy from are the ones who give you the greatest confidence level that they are going to be with you before and after the sale. Do you buy locally? Maybe. The farm down the street may not offer financing--or may not have the bloodlines or colors you planned on--but maybe a farm across the country does. Don't limit yourself to next door. Looking elsewhere in the country may give you bloodlines unique to your area which could be a selling point for your farm.
Buying an alpaca is easyfinding the breeder you can work with throughout your developmental years and beyond is critical to your growth. Our clients dont typically buy just one alpaca and disappear. They become affiliates of our farm with each side benefiting from the other's experiences--we develop relationships. A list of our affiliate farms is available on our website and our blogfeel free to contact any of them to discuss their experience with our farm or to schedule a farm visit.
Alpacas at Tucker Creek has been raising alpacas on 20 beautiful acres near the northern Oregon coast since 2003. All females are bred to the finest world class Studmaster males with the goal of enhancing their strong points and improving their weak areas. Each generation improves on the past in the ongoing mission to create "Ideal Alpacas".
When we created the menu of services to be offered, personal hands-on sessions was a must. One of the joys of this industry is the time we spend with new and continuing clients. Give us your wish list--from developing your initial herd to tax planning to farm layout to husbandry--and we will create a program to meet your specific needs. |
