Located just a 30 minute drive southwest of the Twin Cities Metro on Highway 169 into the heart of the beautiful Minnesota River Valley, North Country Alpacas is only 5 minutes east of Le Sueur.

It is our goal to raise healthy, superior quality alpacas with elite fleece characteristics, to offer excellent and continuing customer education and service, and to develop new markets for the exquisite alpaca fiber.

Our customers are able to benefit from our 13 years of experience in the alpaca industry and the genetics brought into the herd through thoughtful breedings and purchases. Peruvian Javier, Super Sam, HP Lockhart, Vengador, White Out, Bueno, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Lilly's Accoyo Dupioni, Shaquille, 5Peruvian Inca's Ransom, 4Peruvian Black Magic, Peruvian Microsoft, The Goldsmith, Royal Fawn and Pperuvian Camilio are among those represented in our herdsires, breeding females, juveniles, and crias.

Our approach to working with our alpacas is very hands-on. We know our animals individually and spend a great deal of time observing and interacting with them.
