It doesn't get any better than watching your alpacas run and play in your pasture from your living room window. What a wonderful lifestyle; calm, heart warming and back to nature. Our farm is located just outside of the historic town of Mayville, Wisconsin. Mayville is on the edge of the Horicon Marsh. The largest freshwater cattail Marsh in the United States at 32,000 acres. More than 264 species of birds have been recorded on the Marsh. There is hiking, biking, canoeing, skiing, photograph, fishing, snowshoeing, scenic overlooks, hunting and auto tours. If this is not enough, our farm is on the Rock River which runs through Mayville. We have 150 acres with over 2 miles of Rock River frontage. Our home and barn are atop a large hill which allows us to see for miles in addition to overlooking the Rock River. The large hill is also perfect for our alpacas; great drainage, wonderful breezes and lots of open space. We have been raising and breeding alpacas for 5 years. We have learned a great deal about alpacas and ourselves in that time. As we learn and know better, we do better. We would love the opportunity to share our knowlege with you. Our farm goals are to breed white and light colored suri alpacas with top priority on the end product, FIBER!
