 Since 1998, Hickory Bluff Farms has been breeding high quality huacaya alpacas in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, located only 20 minutes east of Nashville just off I-40.
There's plenty of real Country Music, alpaca style at Hickory Bluff Farms. With over 50 huacaya alpacas always available in all colors and ages, we can offer quite a selection for you to choose.
We offer package pricing, financing, and have lots of unrelated bloodlines in our herd, with many going back 5 generations in the US from well known lineages. Our goals in breeding for solid conformation and fine fiber have been realized, with each generation showing the strong conformation of our foundation herd and improved fleece each year.
If you're looking for a "date" for your girls, Hickory Bluff Farms is the home of the Orgle Inn, the place to meet and breed. We offer several resort plans for your girls' kushy stay with us and our band of breeding guys.
So ya'll come for a visit and hear some real country music, alpaca style. Our alpacas know the words, but they'd rather HMMMMM. |

Hickory Bluff Farms is a fully integrated alpaca business. We believe in the continuation of strong breeding stock and the further development of the fiber business.
The Alpaca Store at Hickory Bluff Farms carries our own fiber, roving, yarn and garments, as well as carefully selected imported items from Peru as we continue to develop our domestic fiber business.

We also co-own New Era Fiber, our fiber mill just up the road, specializing in processing award winning alpaca yarn and roving from our farms and over 100 other US alpaca farms.

| | Breeder Biography
Since 1998, Bill and Ruth Fuqua have owned and managed Hickory Bluff Farms in Mount Juliet, TN. Starting with a foundation herd of 5 females and 2 males, they have grown the herd to over 50 huacayas.
The facilities were developed specifically for alpacas, with 2 barns and 12 acres of sturdy fencing. Come for a look!
