Ruebarb Alpacas

We began our journey as alpaca owners the day I drove the school bus for a kindergarden field trip to a local alpaca farm in May of 2002. We are located in Western New York in Allegany County only a couple miles from Houghton College and Letchworth State Park.
Our animals are friendly and easy to care for and are being bred to quality males as we strive to keep on improving our herd with good confirmation and fleece. We are offering our alpacas and yarn for sale, along with socks, gloves etc. We enjoy farm visits and sell quality animals with continuing support. We guarantee a live birth with our pregnant females along with a breed back. Our last years male crias look to be potential herd shires with great fleece and confirmation. We have added Silk of Peru to our breeding progam to further improve our alpacas. He comes to us from Edgewood Farms in Allegany NY and has a micron count of 21 at 8 years of age. Silk is full peruvian 1/2 accoyo and we are offering him at stud. Silk's color is whiteand his sire is Pervian Snowmaster. We have also gotten 1/2 interest in Purvian Cosmos, a beautiful rose grey male.
This past year we have had a total of 5 healthy crias born,2 females and 3 males. They are a range of colors from white, fawn, dark brown and black. All have great confirmation and fleece, we are very pleased with our crias this year. It proves that we are improving our herd, which is our goal. It is so satisfing to watch them out racing in the field in the morning! We purchased an addition 82 acres last year, land surrounding our farm. We are busy fencing in more pasture at the present time.
