Joyful Journey Alpacas now has several proven young herdsires that are priced to sell. Check out Kratos, the Reserve Color Champion son of 6 time blue ribbon winner Adonis. He settled a girl on his first attempt. He is a wonderful breeder too just like Papa! The majority of our herd is full peruvian. The other part non-peruvian is mostly from a Med. rose gray female once owned by Magical farms who came from Australia. Our main concentration is on densely fleece, large boned, well conformed females with consistent fleece characteristics and respectable microns. We have taken a great deal of time to match these females to the right male. We have been awarded over and over again in the show ring. These quality animals have been priced to sell(below the current low market!) so that we can continue to maintain a healthy, stress free environment in the barn. Our blessing of females is in overdrive!
We are located in NW Wisconsin on a scenic state highway where it is very quiet and peaceful on our back six acres of fenced in pasture. Every effort has been made to provide a pleasant life for our alpacas.
Our attendance at shows has helped us to fully understand what makes a "whole package" alpaca and that package continually gets some tweeking as the quality of the U.S. herd increases. Our thoughtful breeding programs has led to ribbon winners. Purchase from us and start at the top! Visitors very often tell us that we have the most friendly alpacas they have every met and each one comes halter trained. We offer excellent financing also.
