Glenbar Alpacas inc. is a farm with a personal touch. Glen grew up farming and Barb grew up breeding and showing dogs, While we were considering investment options for our retirement we considered all the options available, Stocks, Money Market funds and felt that we wanted something we had more control over which turned out to be a good thing since the decline of the markets. We also considered putting our acreage to good use and have it create income rather than expense so we decided to expand our farm to livestock and utilize the acreage. The search began for animals to invest in. Keeping in mind that we both worked full time so an easy care option was all we considered that could provide a good return on our investment, we discovered Alpacas and found what we were looking for. Alpacas are not only fun to raise and train but part of our investment future, it was a match made in heaven and an answer to our dreams.
