Since 2001 when we first discovered these delicate, graceful creatures, with beautiful lustrous locks... we have been working very hard in those 8 years to breed the very best crias that we could with our few foundation females. Well, we have gained a few, Beth, Mora, and we have lost our dear beloved Mama, Pperuvian Iris.
We have had many Cria born on our farm and our few acres are quickly becoming too small, but we are the happiest we have ever been.
We have found that along with the traditional solid colored animals with fleece the quality of white animals, that we also are fascinated with what I call the "Funkys", the multi's, the appaloosas and the pintos. It is like Christmas or my Birthday any time a cria is born, you never know what will be coming out to greet you.
I feel that our industry is still growing as far as milling of the fiber is concerned, that we are still in an "Arts and Crafts" stage of our fleece production, and that the hand spinners love the "Funky" because, again, you never know what your gonna get.
Thank you to all of the new friends and clients that we have made, along with your shared knowledge and experience we have come to appreciate every day.
May 2009 bring Great things!
Thank you to our Paca-Momma Virginia for all of your continued support and help. We love you.
