 It's getting hard to stand out here on AlpacaNation so we encourage you to contact us via email or a good old fashion phone call so we can "talk alpacas" and about this exciting industry. Our goal is to work with prospective customers "where they are", whether you're a seasoned or new breeder.
We’ll take what we’ve learned through experience, reading, seminars, research, networking with other breeders, attending alpaca events and conducting seminars, and help you through the many aspects of this industry. If you’re not even sure if this business is right for you, we’ll help you develop a complete view of the industry, the good and the
challenging, so you can make an informed decision on whether to pursue alpaca ownership. Many times folks new to this industry have not yet worked through various aspects of alpaca ownership let alone have a vision of where they’d like to take this new enterprise. We’ll work with you to define your goals and the steps necessary to achieve them. Very few questions in this business can be answered in a simple yes or no and in the vast majority of instances, the answers will be “it depends”. This is true about which alpacas to purchase, what facilities
are needed, what a nutrition program should consist of, what medical procedures are needed, what procedures to perform yourself and when to have your vet do them, and how to make breeding decisions. Our desire is to discuss with you the many different views on these issues, not just ours. We'll help you develop a vision of your alpaca experience which will be unique to your current position and where you want to take your breeding program. |

If you’re already confident in knowing much of where you’re taking your alpaca business and what specific types of alpacas you’re looking to purchase, we commit to providing accurate and complete information on all alpacas for sale. This is to insure any purchase does in fact fit your breeding program. Photos, fleece samples, and video are the primary ways we provide information not already listed on this site. We are so confident that our alpacas will be as represented that we offer this guarantee: All breeding quality alpacas purchased without an onsite inspection, are sold with a no questions asked return policy.
Ask about our “Voluntary Standard of Professional Conduct” that describes how we represent our business, the alpaca industry and how we strive to deal with customers and fellow breeders. We’d be happy to send you a copy.
We've found that volunteering in the various organizations and venues in this business is an excellent way to learn and place yourself within a
“network” of other alpaca breeders and recommend it to all alpacs owners. We are founding directors of The Great Midwest Alpaca Festival, an annual halter and fleece show held in Madison WI each April since 2003. Ronelle heads up the hospitality functions and I, Elden, am Co-chair and treasurer.
