Located in southern NH, Inti Alpacas is home to a growing herd of quality alpacas. Where sheep once grazed, 65 acres provides plenty of pasture and room for crias and their dams to romp. You can raise alpacas successfully on as few as 5 acres!
Luxurious alpaca fiber and the textiles produced from it were the "coin of the realm" in the ancient Incan empire of Peru. Matching the quality of the Incan fiber - rarely seen today - is the goal of our breeding program.
Today, the value of alpacas is based on their ability to produce luxury fiber. Come and see "baby fine" fiber on alpacas over ten years old! (Tip: Not all 'baby' alpacas have 'baby' Grade fiber.)
'Inti' is a Peruvian word for the sun. Inti (pronounced 'In TEE')was chosen as the name for our alpaca business in gratitude to the ancient peoples of the Andean region who developed the domestic alpaca from the wild vicuna. Each year the native people still celebrate "Inti Raymi", or the Sun Festival.
Decades of experience breeding & evaluating livestock helped us choose our foundation females. Stucturally sound conformation, longevity, and fiber were the selection criteria. These select females have been bred to some of the finest males in the country.

Concerned about caring for valuable breeding stock? - Take home a couple fiber geldings to gain experience and help you decide if alpacas fit into your lifestyle. When you are ready, you can apply the entire amount of your gelding purchase toward the purchase of breeding females!
No land? - You can still own, or invest in alpacas! Inti offers boarding of your alpaca(s) and/or partial ownerships.
Experienced breeders - Do you want to expand your breeding program, but find you have too many males? Fiber males will be accepted as partial payment for most breeding stock offered. Call for details.

| | Breeder Biography
As longtime fans of fine alpaca garments, Linda Marie & Gordon Hadyk are building the Inti herd focusing on elite fiber traits. With over 30 years of livestock breeding & husbandry experience, they enjoy the day-to-day management of the herd, and the development of their farm facility. A working knowledge of genetics, animal behavior, and conformation evaluation provides a solid foundation on which to build.
As a sustainable small scale agricultural endeavor, Linda & Gordon find that breeding alpacas is intellectually intriguing, emotionally engaging, and financially rewarding - plus it provides a welcome change of pace from demanding careers in computer engineering and professional photography. They are excited about the future of the North American alpaca industry!
