Our animals are full Peruvian and steeped in foundation bloodlines. In making purchases for our foundation herd, we chose well-established bloodstock whose names have become standards for the industry, and whose offspring repeatedly win in the show ring. These established bloodlines are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain due to restricted bookings, closed bookings and, sadly, in some cases the death of these magnificient animalssuch as Starbuck, Ramilo, Bruxo, Uribe and others.
We also set a high priorty on Accoyo lines, and incorporated into our herd a strong mix of Accoyo bloodlines. As a result, we never have had a huacaya alpaca born on our farm. Subsequently, most of our alpaca are at least one-half Accoyo and include sons or daughters or grandsons and granddaughters of Peruvian Torbio, Peruvian Inca, Peruvian Uribe, Peruvian Starbuck, Peruvian Bruxo and multiple Herdsire of the Year, Peruvian Macgyver.
