Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, but minutes from Denver and Boulder, Copper Canyon is a retreat from the hectic pace of daily living. We offer mountain hospitality along with some of the most beautiful suri alpacas that can be found.
Our small herd, which ranges in color from white, fawn, bay black to true black, has exceptional pedigrees and genetics, with names like Baron, Emminence Griese, Black Jax, Protocol and Batiste in our lineage. We are hands-on owners providing individualized service for each alpaca in our care.
Our breeding program focuses on a perfect blend of fiber and conformation, in both our full Peruvian and Peruvian-Bolivian animals.
Our starring junior herdsire, Braveheart, is a lustrous bay black/true black who was ranked second in his class at the 2004 AOBA Nationals and first at the 2006 Great Western. This settled three year old is offering his herdsire service at the rate of $2000.
The little fella you see here is Peruvian Fire on the Mountain ('Monty'), a gorgeous coppery-fawn son of Protocol (pictured to the right).
Our large, accomodating meeting space is also available to rent for skirting/spinning or workshops/seminars. |
