At Smoky Mountain Alpacas, while located in Sylva, North Carolina, we realized that we needed more pastureland, plus due to the pounding rain that summer, we were without ample grass for our herd to graze on.
We relocated to 51 Acres of pastureland located in Stuart Virginia in 2004.
The 51 acres of lush green pastures swiftly were transformed into four acre paddocks, and four barns were constructed within a short time.
Our grazing pastures of four acres each, yield ample room for our alpacas to roam and frolic, plus change pastures every few months.
Our small herd is growing by leaps and bounds, and our Genetic quality is increasing also.
We strive to breed to the best of the best, resulting in our herd's enhancement
All of our cria are from outstanding herdsires including: Mahogany Prince, Durazno, Yodi, Pistol, Macguyver, Sirius Black, Crown Royal/s White Knight, Captain Morgan, Admirals Commander, Bruxo, Maserati, Kobe, Keanu, Balboa, and soon, Brigadier, Sniper, Fine Threads Jax, and more. We strive to increase our herd quality with every breeding.
We offer full farm services and guarantees and on-gonig support to purchasers, plus discounts on repeat breedings. Terms are tailored to your personal needs.
The coffee is always hot, and there is always something ready for you to munch on after a farm visit.
