Alpacas At Scotland Hill

We are a small farm in rural eastern Connecticut. Located 40 minutes from Hartford and 20 minutes from the Mass/R.I. boarder.
As a small farm, we are dedicated to producing quality alpacas, staying focused on confirmation, health and fleece. Our goal is to improve on our alpacas with every new birth by giving careful consideration to our breeding program. We are also focused on keeping our farm small at a personably manageable level. We particularly enjoy the daily hands-on interaction we have with our alpacas. That's what we call our "Small Farm T.L.C." We would never want to loose that aspect of our farm.
Bob & I started our alpaca business in 2003 as a new and exciting adventure in our retirement. We have learned much through those five years. Much of it, I must admit, through our own trials and errors but the majority through seminars and clinics, learning from the shows we attend and from our many alpaca friends.
We continue to promote alpacas and the wonderful products that are produced from their luxurious fleece. We enjoy talking with others interested in alpacas.
