Thank you to all who visited us and the other East County ranches during our 3rd Annual Alpaca Farm Day! We had a huge turnout at the Jamul Feed Store despite the heat. I think everyone enjoyed it!
Come on over to our place and find out...why alpacas? We raise them because they are cute and easy to raise, profitable in the sale and processing of their fiber, as well as the sale of the animals themselves. They are fun to raise for the whole family and costless to raise than a family dog (we have four of those, too)!
The TAX BENEFITS ARE HUGE;alpacas are livestock and can be a tax deductible investment under the IRS Code 179 when raised for their end products. You don't have to personally raise them in order to enjoy the tax benes;they can be boarded for just $3/day. Why invest in the stock market when you can have a sure thing?
We chose alpacas as a pre-retirement business, something we can parlay into our retirement years. Since we still have day jobs, our alpaca business allows us to enjoy the benefits of owning alpacas, and enjoy the alpaca lifestyle. If you are looking for a change of pace, or maybe adding something to your life that provides less stress...please talk to us about alpaca ownership. We can give you printed tax benefits info from our National organization, too.
If you want to try before you buy, we can accommodate that, too. We will gladly loan you 2 alpacas just so you can experience them for yourself. We're serious, if you are.
We also offer 100% alpaca yarn, roving, and full fleeces to our fiber clients. Yarn starts at $5/oz, $3/oz. for roving, and anywhere from $.75/oz to $2.25/oz for fleece. Needle felters love our roving and fleece for their projects, too!
Organic compost, anyone? We can fill up your 30 gallon container full of organic alpaca compost -- FREE, for the first container while this free program lasts. We want you to enjoy the benefits of alpaca compost in your garden, |
