|
Missouri Alpacas specializes in quality grey and black huacaya alpacas.
We are nestled in the Mark Twain National Forest of southern Missouri. We began raising alpacas in 2004 after discovering this wonderfully unique animal. Both our location and our alpacas fulfill our goal of “quality livestock and lifestyle”. Our goal has been to produce quality alpacas by combining the strenghts and weaknesses of our dams and herdsires. |

We have taken a dam with minimal good traits and have seen her produce beautiful crias with better fiber than she had. In the industry this is referred to as "up breeding". From generation to generation we are creating a better alpaca herd than we started with. Today our herd is one we are proud of. Our alpacas have dense fiber with uniform crimp and fineness. Our herd is 80% grey and black.
We don’t just sell our alpacas; we develop relationships with new and existing breeders; building friendships that will last for years. Come and visit our ranch or contact us by phone or email. Allow us to introduce you to our lifestyle of raising alpacas. |
