 Welcome to Shadow Pines Alpaca Farm. We are a small family run farm, carved out of the woods in Exeter, RI, and is easily accessible from route 95. Nearby are the seaside towns of Wickford, Jamestown, Newport, Narragansett, and the beautiful ocean beaches of South County.
We became interested in alpacas in 2002 and began to gather information. One of our daughters was playing field hockey in college, and we combined our frequent trips to watch her play with visits to area alpaca farms from Maine to Virginia. We visited many farms and talked to a lot of great people, and made our first purchase in December of 2003.
We believe in raising high quality alpacas that are both happy and healthy. Our bloodlines include Augusto, Bueno, Hemingway, Legacy, Matador, Mr Roosevelt,and the herdsires of Glen Ridge Farm; MFI's Duke of Earl, Crescent Moon's Polaris, Maplebrook Malcolm, Diplomat, Valeroso, and AML Legacy's Salud. We are committed to offering quality alpacas and service at a fair price.
