About Genesis Alpacas

 After 12 years' experience in breeding, birthing and
showing alpacas, we have decided to retire. To pique
your interest, we have priced all Genesis Alpacas
females at $2012 or less! (Retirement prices do not
apply to brokered females.)
We strongly believe in the future of the alpaca
industry in the United States. If you do too, this is
the best time ever to assemble a herd of fine alpacas
at very attractive prices. We look forward to mentoring
you in your new venture.
Buying groups of alpacas is a nice way to ensure that
they are happy and adjust more easily to their new
home. Tell us what grouping you are interested in, make
us an offer, or ask us to quote you a surprising
discount!
When you have found just the right alpacas, it is also
important that you feel comfortable with the breeder
you buy from. We will treat you with respect, honesty
and courtesy. Your success and your alpacas' welfare
are our ongoing concerns.
While it is easy to be attracted to the alpaca's
soulful eyes and luxurious fleece, you will want to
carefully research your purchase and acquire the best
alpacas you can afford. Here you'll find solid, healthy
animals who will reward you with years of value and
companionship. Genesis Alpacas are registered with The
Alpaca Registry, Inc., and test BVDV negative.
Genesis Alpacas are bred for:
• correct conformation and bite
• robust health and genetic vigor
• calm disposition
• heavy production of soft, lustrous, uniform
fleece, with special emphasis on the animal's ability
to maintain a fine fleece into maturity.
Genesis females exhibit:
• easy birthing, generous milking and strong
mothering ability.
Genesis males exhibit:
• strong libido, high fertility and ability to
produce outstanding crias! |

We are pleased to be associated with fulltime alpaca
rancher Ruthann McVicker of JRAM Alpacas, LLC in
Stanwood, Washington. Ruthann cares for the Genesis
herd as well as her own. Each alpaca is known by name
and personality, and cared for like a member of the
family. We have never known a more personable,
observant and dedicated breeder than Ruthann.
Living close by, we are at the farm frequently, working
alongside Ruthann caring for both herds as one: herd
health, shearing, training, breeding, birthing, and
hosting visitors from the public and media.
When your female is here for breeding, she will receive
75 days' free board (incl. cria at side) and you will
receive regular updates about their progress.
Veterinary care is provided by the camelid
specialists at Northwest Veterinary Clinic, who have
extensive experience and care for one of the largest
alpaca herds in the U.S.

We're here in NW Washington state, raising healthy, happy, fine fleeced huacaya alpacas, and 4 terrific sons! Our alpacas are carefully selected for physical correctness and gorgeous fleeces. Working closely with JRAM Alpacas, LLC, we provide you with the TLC and support of two professional breeders. Stand at the white rail fence, sip some tea as the alpacas nuzzle you, and you'll feel right at home here. Please come out for a visit- we'd love to hear about your alpaca farm plans!
