 We are a small (but growing) alpaca farm located in Green Township in northwest New Jersey. We are centrally located with easy access from anywhere in New Jersey, northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New York State.
Our animal journey did not start with alpacas, but with sheep. The problem with this venture was that no one wanted to see the sheep sent to market, and our herd was slowly outgrowing our space. We were fortunate enough to find a family through a livestock rescue site who had bought a former sheep farm, and on a hot day one August the sheep made the trip to their new home.
We discovered alpacas the same way as many others, we had seen the ads on TV and in magazines showing these adorable affectionate animals. These gentle creatures have proved to be the perfect livestock investment. Over the last several years we have been slowly growing our herd, selecting animals that would bring a good combination of diversity and strong genetics. Some of the finest bloodlines are represented in our herd, Dom Lucilio, Camilio, Microsoft, Hemingway, Pachacuti, Apollo, Royal Fawn, CPeruvian Jackson, to name just a few.
Since our first purchase in the fall of 2004, we have made it our business to learn all that we could about raising alpacas, and we have found a business that can also be fun. We have made some good friends as well, and if we do not have what you are looking for on our farm, we would be happy to direct you to reputable breeders who might have just what you are looking for.
