We began our adventure by chance after a visit to the Catskill Game Farm before their final closing. We have always been interested in owning goats but have never found the reason to actually get them. After our visit the game farm, our camelid interest was sparked by the question, "What is the difference between a llama and an alpaca?" Once we began looking for the answer we were hooked!
We are new to the "Alpaca World" and are eager to learn as much as we possibly can about these amazing camelids! We hope to produce high quality fiber and well structured animals with sound and friendly temperaments.
After owning our alpacas for only a short time we are already thinking of ways to expand in the future. We love owning them and having them as part of our family.
Since we are a small farm with just a few animals we hope to be as hands on with our animals as possible. We are eager and excited to get involved with spinning and alpaca products as well as breeding well structured, sound animals.
