About Hidden Hollow Alpacas LLC

Image is being processed by ANThis historic Hidden Hollow Farm is owned and operated by Gordon and Kathleen Richards-Babcock as well as our son Brook Babcock, and is located in the Northwest corner of Vermont, next to beautiful Lake Champlain. Situated on 215 acres,
Hidden Hollow Alpacas is a full-service family farm. We are dedicated to the quality of care, detail, and well-being of our herd of beautiful Alpacas. We also offer boarding, and herdsire services for both Suri and Huacaya species. This is a full-time vocation for us, allowing for undivided attention for our Alpacas, and accessability for our clients. We purchased our farm in 1992, the stone house was built in 1824. Formerly a dairy farm milking 100 Holstein cows, we continue to grow our own corn and hay. We are proud to offer stud services with our beautiful Suri and Huacaya herdsires. Sales, breeding, financing, boarding, reproductive guarantees, Alpaca products. We continue to educate ourselves in all areas
of health, herd management, marketing, and support of the North American Alpaca industry. We also participate in AOBA ( American Owners and Breeders Association) sanctioned shows, and enjoy the company of other Alpaca breeders and enthusiasts. Keeping
current with advances in "all things alpaca" is something we vigorously encourage, and strive toward. We are fortunate to have received excellent advice and support in selecting our initial breeding stock. Therefore, we consider the entire "picture" when helping you establish or improve your own herd with the best genetic diversity. Visitors are always
welcome at our farm and appointments may be scheduled, so please call in advance. We look forward to your visit, we would love to meet you, and never tire of talking about Alpacas.

HIDDEN HOLLOW FARM

Our farm participates in agri-tourism with other Vermont farms, and offer open farm days. We have Alpaca fiber....both processed and and raw fleeces for the handspinner. As we continue to grow, we look forward to working with all types of
crafters... weavers, knitters, felt makers etc. We find that rewards borne of hard work are wonderfully satisfying in today's fast-paced environment. Though we personally attend to their care on a daily basis we are fortunate to have well-informed veterinary service available locally. Following the current protocol of preventive veterinary care is a priority.
At Hidden Hollow Farm the emphasis is on retaining
outstanding qualities of confirmation and fiber through continued use of excellent herdsires. We hope you will delight in discovering these enigmatic, enchanting creatures as we do. Don't hesitate to join us in "Vermont's Premiere Alpaca Experience"
