 We SOLD our first alpacas, the two gelded males we had. We ran an on farm special for the Farm Tour.
We are now only a few months from retirement, Feburary 2010. The barn exterior is now complete. We still have to finish the inside which includes a bathroom, store, sleeping area, and vet room. We also have all the fencing to do, so there is still a great deal to complete before we can relocate the animals.

We currently live in Minneapolis, MN and board most of our alpacas at Cozy Acres Alpacas in Le Sueur, MN.
We also have some boarded at Creeks Bend in Le Center, MN and Pure Country Alpacas in Prior Lake.
Foothills Alpaca Farm was established in April, 2006 and began with a pregnant female and a juvenile female. Before having the animals moved from the farms we purchased them from, we lost the juvenile female to an allergic reaction to a vaccine. We then purchased a pregnant female and her 3 week old female cria. As to how our farm got it’s name, there are no mountains in Minnesota. Our farm borders the Foothills state forest.
