Alegria Alpacas, LLC was started in 2007 to provide us with a great life style and to breed the most elegant of all camelids, the Suri. We have always wanted to have a farm but could never raise my babies to be sent to market... then came the Alpaca! As soon as we learned of them we began the quest for information and set out to have an Alpaca farm. We decided on the Suri because of the rarity and beauty. There is nothing quite like them and we now have the unique opportunity and honor to breed, raise and sell these wonderful creatures. We purchased outstanding genetics providing the "Foundation" of our breeding program to enable us to raise the bar and produce some outstanding genetics of our own. High quality, colored Suri's with some Accoyo, too! We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss the future of the Suri at Alegria Alpacas, LLC. |

Alegria Alpacas is a 5 acre farm with 38' x 56' x 12' barn and 5 turn outs. It is shared with our horses, Judy and Sunny. Off the barn are 5 dry lot areas that open to pastures. These areas are occupied by the breeding females with cria and the maiden and weaned juvi's. We have the males in back with a dry lot that opens to a pasture turn out as well. We take security very seriously and have bordered the pastures by a 10' alley to provide a buffer zone against preditors & dogs . These areas are patrolled by our dogs, Neo and Gucci.
