What sets Diamond Rose apart from all the rest of the quality alpaca farms? It could be that our alpacas don't poop in the barn. We hardly see a fly around so doing chores is both clean and non-irritating. Or it could be that we train our alpacas from the day they are born, using key words that they quickly grasp and obey. They always know what we expect of them and the lack of confusion creates a stress-free environment for them, and for us.
We pratice an easy business profile: quality alpacas give quality fleece which produce quality products. We have a growing show-quality breeding program that brings the alpaca those cherished ribbons and gives me fantastic fleece to work with as I create alpaca products of every kind.
We are excited and proud to add two POWERHOUSE HERDSIRES to our own Herdsires: LMFI Peruvian Introuvable for our Black Program and Legend's Challenger of KPR for our Grey Program.
We couldn't be happier with last years show season - every one of our crias gave us a ribbon in every show they entered! Our females continue to put out those winning crias for us!
Keep checking our site for updates on our young males. When you take Champion/High End Ribbon Females and breed them to Championship Males, you actually hope for a male that can become the next POWERHOUSE Herdsire. We will be showing our Challenger boys soon, and some of them might become available!
In the highly competitive "Breeder's Best of Three" our ranch earned 2 seconds and 1 third where we competed with well established farms with white, beige and fawn alpacas.
Enjoy reviewing our site, fell free to email any questions you might have about our herd, or about alpacas in general.
Best of luck in your alpaca future! |
