Directions to our farm: From I44 go South on Six Flags Rd.(Exit 261.)Cross Business 44, go over the rock bridge and railroad tracks, then turn left. Go about 2 blocks and turn right at the stop sign. Follow the road for about 3 miles. Farm is on the right, white house and red barn. Look for the sign Adelman's Alpaca Dream. We're looking forward to seeing you. Visitors are welcome!!

At Adelman's Alpaca Dream we focus on high quality alpacas that have only the best care and hands-on attention. We breed and grow our herd to produce the best offspring possible. Included in our herd are 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren of the famous Augusto. Our entire herd is registered with ARI,Inc. (Alpaca Registry, Inc.)

Adelman's Alpaca Dream is a family-owned business, Pat Adelman and children, Jay and Jamie. The farm is operated by a mother and son partnership. Pat Adelman(mom) retired after 37 years in the telecommunications industry. Jay(son) became so interested in the alpaca business that he redirected his plans for the future and has made this his profession.
Jamie(daughter) is an accountant and lives in California.
Our farm was first conceived by our late, beloved husband and father, Jerry Adelman. It was his dream to buy a farm and raise alpacas. Unfortunately for us, he passed away long before he could begin to realize his dream. To honor our husband and father, and to start the process of fulfilling his dream, we bought our first 2 alpacas in October, 2002. After four years of boarding our alpacas and watching our little herd grow, we moved to our own beautiful farm nestled in St. Louis County 3 years ago. It was such a joy to bring our alpacas home, where we get to enjoy them each and every day. It's a lifestyle that can't be beat!!

| | Breeder Biography
We are a mother and son team who started in the alpaca business to fulfill the dream of our late husband/father. Pat(mom),retired senior executive with AT&T, handles the business matters. Jay is the visionary, planner and expert in the care of the alpacas and the farm. He has studied the industry and did all the planning and set up on the farm to bring our alpacas home. Jay cares for 23 alpacas and has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, which he enjoys sharing with visitors.
