I saw my first alpaca in Sept 2007 at the National Farm Days. I had my 4 grandaughters overnight, and saw an ad in the local paper, and thought it would be something fun and different to do with the girls. We visited a farm several miles from us, and something about that visit stuck with me. I started visiting other farms in my area (and there are a LOT of them!!), and by December, had purchased my first girl, Morning Pearl, from Chris Barty & Eric Lorince of Alpaca Sunrise Farm. It was all over after that.

Our farm will be hosting our own open house during National Farm Days this year on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27. We will be open from noon until 7:00pm both days. People always ask us, "So what do you DO with them?" We'll have a variety of products to show you that will answer that question. We hope to see you here! |

Our ultimate breeding goal is to produce the highest quality fiber possible. If we will put serious effort into our breedings, it only makes sense that we continue to be as hands on as possible to create the end product. To that end, we are learning to wash, card, and spin our own fiber. It's the best way we know to ensure a high quality end product. As we learn, we will be happy to share our knowledge with you too!

| | Breeder Biography
Cubic's Country Alpacas is a small farm on 3.5 beautiful open acres in Spencer Twp, Ohio. We are breeding for fiber first; then color. We are blessed to be located in a very populated area of alpaca farms, so we have access to excellent animals and services. We have also been successful busines owners since 1994 in an unrelated field and would be delighted to offer advice on planning to be successful in the alpaca business. Please come visit us any time.
