Welcome to Lakeview Farm Alpacas. Owned and operated by Randy & Jean Ewings and our four children Nikki, Matt, Courtney and Zack. We are a growing farm. Randy and I spent two years researching alpacas and visiting farms and choosing the perfect alpacas to begin our herd and our adventure as alpaca farmers. In just a short amount of time we have grown from two pregnant females in January of 2006 to nineteen awesome alpacas and a quard Llama. Just stop by our farm and find out why we have become “alpaca-holics”.
Currently our farm is located in the quiet valley on Route 16 south in the town of Olean, New York just below beautiful Rock City Park. Located in Cattaraugus County we have lots of great attractions that surround us. Just venture south of Ellicottville and east of Salamanca and the Seneca Nation Casino, past St. Bonaventure University and head south on Route 16 towards Bradford, Pennsylvania and you’ll find our farm nestled in the valley. We are just began building our new barn on David Drive in Olean, on our park like 72 acres. Watch for pictures of our new barn soon on our site.

Lakeview farm Alpacas is a family farm, with four children to help out with the chores, it was a great choice to add alpacas to our family. What a better way to get back to nature than to receive cria kisses each morning before school and to have the herd of fuzzy faces run to the fence as you return at the end of a stressful day. Just sitting in our Adirondack chairs in the pasture will help us forget the stresses of the day. Randy has run his own business since he was a teenager and continues to run our current business Hillside landscaping and storage. Jean is a Teacher and helps out with all the business adventures as well. We have worked together for the past 21 years from running a restaurant and taste freeze to selling Christmas trees for the past 17 years. We have always been successful in the challenges we have faced in the past. Deciding to raise alpacas just adds to our business resume, being able to find a less stressful business endeavor is what we really needed in our busy lives.
