Located just outside Livingston, Montana, Alpine Vista Suri Alpacas is a small, 20-acre farm at the base of Wineglass Mountain. We started in 2007 with 5 animals; our goal is to breed for fineness and luster in colored animals. We currently have 4 males and 4 females, two of which are due with their second crias in summer, 2009. We offer boarding and breeding services, as well as customized processing on any type of fiber into a hand-spun yarn. We are easily accessed from I-90 and offer free transportation with any animal purchase. |

With Kirk having grown up in rural northeastern Ohio and Julie getting tired of city life, we decided to move to Montana. We ended up moving to Livingston, MT which is conveniently located north of Yellowstone National Park and just east of Bozeman, MT. This gives us easy access to YNP, the Paradise Valley, Bozeman, and four mountain ranges - the Crazies, Absaroka/Beartooths, Gallatin range, and the Bridgers. Livingston can be a very windy place, but our animals work with it and are thriving in the cool, dry climate. We are continually working to improve our land and help it heal from previous abuses so we can increase our herd size to a number that it can sustainably support. Feel free to contact us if you would like to visit and learn more about these wonderful animals.
