Welcome to SkyeFyre!(Sky Fire) We are Chuck and Julie and we have a growing suri herd on 10 acres. We started our alpaca ranch in May of 2005 in the middle of building our log home. So we put the house on hold and got ready for alpacas. Our first alpacas were 2 boys, just to see if we really wanted to do this. By the time we were half way home with them, we were talking about when we would add some girls to the herd. Within a couple of months, we added four pregnant girls and a herdsire. And now, three years later, we have 14, with 2 more due this summer (08). Boy, those crias are cute!!! |

| | Breeder Biography
SkyeFyre is a 10 acre ranch in the beautiful Cascade foothills above Oakland, Oregon, just 2 miles off Interstate 5. Our name came to us because of the gorgeous sunrises that look like fire in the sky. We began in May of 2005 with 2 young suri males, to see if we really wanted to be in the business. We added 4 pregnant girls and a herdsire before years end! Our first show, in 2007, was a great success, 3 entries, 3 winners! What a grand and enjoyable experience it has been and continues to be.
