Welcome to Inghams Mill Farm.
We're a quiet farm nestled within Inghams Mills, which once was a settlement within itself, containing the history of a blacksmith shop and other businesses. The historical Inghams Mills Baptist Church that served the spiritual needs of the local people continues to do so today. There is a great deal of history surrounding our farm and we invite you to research our area. We're full of country living and alpacas add to the charm of the calm, easy going way of life that is in Inghams.
We're located in the country setting of the Town of Manheim at the "Gateway to the "Adirondacks" on the Herkimer and Fulton County line in the middle of New York State.
We're easy access on and off of the New York State Thruway, 4 miles northeast of exit 29A.
We visited our first alpaca farm to just meet alpacas in person. This visit resulted in the purchase of our first three males. Our herd continued to grow after we decided to add some girls to our farm.
Alpaca farming is the new wave of agriculture, providing a wide range of opportunities, including livestock sales, sales of fiber and fiber products. |

| | Breeder Biography Our farmlife was founded in 1973 with the foundation of our farm gradually growing through the years to our current 40 acres. We harvest many of our own vegetables and fruit, as well as producing hay from our fields. The addition of alpacas to our homestead has provided new avenues for us, including spinning yarn from the fiber which is shorn from them. There is much to do on the farm, but farm life is a good life. | | | | | | | |
