AlpacaNation: How long have you been in the alpaca business?
Oak Haven Farm: We made our firt purchase in November of 2004 after many months of visiting farms of many sizes and getting a feel of what would be involved in caring for our animals.
AlpacaNation: How did you decide on your farm name? Is there a special meaning behind the name?
Oak Haven Farm: Since we had moved to Virginia, one of the things we loved was the beautiful trees. We had numerous oak trees on our property so we decided to use something that would remind us of our little oak filled haven at our first farm in Virginia. Therefore, Oak Haven Farm was born.
