Purchase Financing, Terms and Conditions

FINANCING TERMS:
We could not have gotten as quick a start in establishing our herd if it were not for the various financing options offered by the farms that we purchased from. Therefore we would like to do our best to offer similar incentives to potential buyers. Please feel free to discuss the various possibilities with us, should you be serious about any of our animals. The rates of interest will be subject to changes in the prime rate, but will be fixed at the time of purchase. Rates will also be subject to the length of the term. The length of term is flexible and we will work with buyers to determine the best possible length and corresponding monthly payment. We generally offer 2 year terms (at 1% over prime), however, for large, package deals we will consider going to 4 years (3yr. at 2% over prime, 4yr. at 3% over prime). All purchases will be subject to 25% down and financed animals must have full mortality insurance for the amount financed or more, payed for by the purchaser, with Irish Valley Farm Alpacas as loss payee. We offer a discount for package purchases (3 or more breeding animals) and for cash purchases. Ask for details. We are open to various forms of creative financing that will best suit the needs of our clients. We look forward to helping you either get started in the industry or add to your existing herd.
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
We offer free board for 30 days after purchase, if needed. If you purchase an open, breeding age female that comes with a breeding to one of our herdsires, there will be free board until the animal is confirmed pregnant by ultrasound or 90 days (whichever comes first). The amount for board is $3.oo per day, per animal. We also offer free transportation of purchased animals up to 200 miles (one way/400 miles round trip), if needed (This does not apply to fiber/pet quality animals). Price for transportation beyond 200 miles would be 45 cents/mile. i.e. if you live 400 miles away, that would exceed the free miles by 200 miles, times 2 (there & back) = 400 miles x $.45 = $180.
GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES:
Purchasers can request and pay for a health/veterinary examination. We incorporate many of the industries standard warranties and guarantees, with respect to reproductivity of maiden females/junior herdsires and live birth guarantees for bred females. Our sales agreements and breeding contracts will reflect the specifics of these terms and should be reviewed by clients prior to entering any agreement or contract.
