FINANCING TERMS:
Double 8 Alpaca ranch has introduced "Paca-Portfolio" Shares, which allow prospective buyers to purchase partial shares of both male and female alpacas thus allowing buyers to diversify their alpaca portfolio quickly, easily and economically. Call us for more information.
Double 8 Alpaca Ranch also offers generous financing terms for full purchases including 12 and 24 month terms.
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
Boarding and Agistment
Daily board includes tested hay/pasture, feed, fiber nutrients, minerals, water, and a pair of "2-legged" eyes 24/7 to make sure everyone is doing well. A nominal fee is charged for other services, such as shearing, medications, fecal analysis, dewormers and vaccines, and other veterinary fees specific to the agisting animals. Here at Double 8 Alpaca Ranch, we are commited to the individual needs of each alpaca.
All animals will require a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection prior to agistment at the Double 8 Alpaca Ranch, in addition to a fecal analysis, and negative BVD/PCR test. This testing may be done by a certified veterinarian once at Double 8. The animal(s) will remain in a quarantine pen until results of health tests are received.
We require all agisted animals to be fully insured.
Pricing and Terms:
Weanlings to adults: $4.50/day
Dam with cria at side: $5.50/day
Discounts for 4 or more alpacas. Breeding discount for agisted animals available.
Birthing fee for normal delivery of agisted dams is $300 for April - November births, and $500 for Winter births (December - March)
