FINANCING TERMS:
Each alpaca purchase includes complete veterinary and production records and a “Welcome Home” Package: a copy of The Camelid Companion and Zephyr halter and lead for each alpaca. In addition, purchasers of a breeding female receive a cria kit and copy of Llama and Alpaca Neonatal Care.
Purchasers of any of our alpacas receive our special CD including useful forms we have developed for running your alpaca business, such as:
1) Herd health tracking form.
2) Resources for processing or selling your fleece.
3) Shearing day tracking forms and play-by-play list of tasks.
4) Fleece preparation and washing instructions.
5) Show packing list (equipment)
We are readily available to assist you with:
1) Locating feed, equipment and alpaca-experienced veterinarians and shearers in your area.
2) Training in herd health tasks: nail trims, injections, body scoring, etc.
3) Locating small farm planning services in your area.
4) Understanding your fleece histogram results.
5) Assessing your alpacas' strengths and weaknesses, and choosing appropriate mates.
6) How to show your alpaca to its best advantage.
With 25% down, breedstock can be financed interest-free for up to 36 months, OAC. For your down payment and monthly or quarterly payments, we gladly accept Paypal, VISA or MasterCard. You may take possession when your alpaca is 50% paid for, providing further payments are charged to your credit card. Companion/fiber quality alpacas can be held with 50% down and remainder due at time of delivery.
Here's how our multiple purchase discounts work:
Purchase 2 breeding quality alpacas - take 10% off the total price
Purchase 3 or more breeding quality alpacas - take 15% off the total price
Experienced breeders: if you do not need the "Welcome Home" supplies, please ask for a discount on your purchase price (females $250, males $85).
Complimentary gelding companion available with herdsire purchase, if needed.
BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
We are glad to provide 6 months free board with the purchase of any breeding quality alpaca, 60 days free board with the purchase of a pet/fiber quality alpaca. Free professional transport within the 48 contiguous states included with the purchase of a breeding animal; free delivery within 100 miles on purchase of non-breeding alpacas.
GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES:
All alpacas are healthy, up-to-date on immunizations and worming, are halter trained and test BVDV negative. All females come with a free breeding to any Genesis-owned herdsire; this may be used for any approved female you own (not transferable). Full reproductive guarantee on breedstock, including 14 day live cria guarantee for bred females. We are glad to provide further information, fleece samples and health/reproduction records upon request.
