Posted - 10/08/2008 : 10:42:13 AM Hello members of AN,
We have been receiving a lot of email at Customer Service within the past week or so regarding photo uploading issues and login issues. Here is why...
This is the time of year for those pesky quarterly updates on our computer software; whether it is Norton, McAfee, Anti-spyware, the list goes on and on. Not to mention the new version of Internet Explorer (8) just came out. All of these updates or upgrades can cause havoc on your computer settings; specifically your cookies and allowed website addresses. Your Cookies setting might have shifted some during these updates which might have also caused AN to not be viewed as an “approved” site (ultimately causing various issues from logging in to uploading photos).
You can continue to contact Customer Service with your issues, but if you are comfortable checking your computers settings and possibly making changes to those settings, here is what you can do:
From your browser window (using IE for this example) follow these tabs from your main menu bar: Tools, Internet Options, Privacy tab. Adjust your setting to Medium by adjusting the bar on the left. You may also want to click on the "Sites" tab to make sure AN is listed as an approved or allowed site. Make sure to save any adjustments by clicking the "OK" button while exiting out. You shouldn't have to restart your computer to see the changes, but it never hurts!
If you do not feel comfortable with these steps or you are still experiencing issues, please feel free to contact us at customerservice@alpacanation.com so we can help troubleshoot your issues. Thanks so much!
