I went to my local Tractor Supply today to get Ivomec and did not realize until I got home that I picked up Ivomec Plus by mistake. The lable says 1% w/v ivermectin and 10% w/v clorsulon in a sterile solution.
Is this ok to use or should I return it and get straight ivomec?

Our girls are coming home in two weeks so I'm trying to get everything together.

Take it back.
If you need to treat for flukes, do that separately, with guidance from your vet

Rick,

Is Ivomec Plus okay to use for M-Worm and Mange Mites? If not, what's your understanding of the difference between Ivomec Plus versus Ivomec?

Not Rick, but Ivomec Plus contains clorsulon as well as ivermectin. Clorsulon is not indicated in the treatment of M-worm or mites. You are adding an unneeded wormer, increasing the chance of resistance. Clorsulon is for liver flukes. If you inject it every month, in the future you may have liver flukes that cannot be treated with it. Use the right product at the right time.

Laura;

Thanks for the information and giving me clarity. At the direction of a new more experienced camelid vet I have stopped using Ivomec Plus and starting using Ivomec.
