Hi all....just wondering if alpacas can get Lyme's disease? If so, can it be diagnosed with the SNAP test used in other species? And, what would symptoms be? We have a female here who is lame but it is hard to describe---best to say "just ain't right". Her fecal is clean and the vet will be out to check her later today. Thanks for any help!

June, You say she's lame but how is she walking exactly. Front feet/foot or back, limping or dragging? Dragging even slightly?

Is she off feed?

I don't know if I'd suspect lymes first. Kathy
