Well, I fell in love with alpacas and everything, I am buying three, etc. And about every other sentence is ALPACA! And when I out of the blue start talking about 'pacas, I get teased. I mentioned that when my sister mentions steers she doesn't get snickers, but when I mention alpaca, it's funny. My sis says it's because they are cute and funny looking. (Probably also bcause i mention them a lot more) What can I say? I like what I like, and I want to share it!

I was showing alpaca baby pictures to the flight attendant on the way down to Missouri. In my defense, she did ask if I had pictures (although she probably meant 2 or 3).

I can't help talking, showing pictures, etc. about my "kids" either and my first ones arrived six years ago. My dogs' co-owner gets annoyed when I tell people about alpacas instead of raving about my beautiful German Shepherds(which I do too, btw)

You don't suppose that's because you aren't trying to market your kids, do you?

Hmm that is a thought! I actually have quite a few pictures of my horses and my dog and I'm not marketing them they are just so darn cute. Mental note must pose the children with the animals!
