 Welcome to Marquita Ranch Alpacas! We are located in the beautiful Uncompahgre Valley south of Montrose, Colorado, which is home to the Black Canyon National Park, and some of the best hunting and fishing, and outdoor recreation in Colorado.
We were first introduced to alpacas in 1991, and attended our first AOBA Conference in Estes Park, Colorado in 1992. In 1993, we brought our first two alpacas home, Martin and Chiquita, and Marquita Ranch Alpacas was born. Today our 37 acre ranch is home for over 60 alpacas in a wide array of colors, and an impressive variety of genetics.
