Mel-O Alpacas is located on 145 acres in Southeastern Indiana. We became interested in alpacas on a vacation in Colorado. Since that time, we have visited many farms, attended various seminars, and talked with a lot of wonderful alpaca folks. When the family farm became available, we made our move. We began with 3 females and our fabulous herdsire, and then added 2 more females. To date we have had 11 female cria and 6 male cria born on our farm. We're feeling very lucky!
