Mary Marie has beautiful shinny true black fleece that is vey dense and very crimpy. She has the great conformation of her sire. She was bred in October 2006 to Patagonia's Compadre, a beautiful true black herdsire with loads of fleece with great crimp. 2007 Update: Mary delivered a true black female cria on 9/29/2007. Neonatal Seminar with Lab: Get ready for the fall 2008 birthing season by signing up for this important workshop. Dr. Cheryl DeWitt of Camelid Reproductive Services, one of the most respected camelid vets in the United States, will guide you through this one day clinic on Saturday, August 9, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The lecture will cover reproductive anatomy and physiology, breeding and pregnancy diagnosis options, gestational development, care of the pregnant dam, normal and abnormal deliveries, and care of the newborn as well as the high risk cria. The lab, using uterine simulators, will challenge registrants to diagnose dystocia (difficult labor and delivery), and then discuss the proposed delivery plan. For new or experienced breeders the knowledge gained is priceless. These dystocia techniques are lifesaving skills that breeders used within days of the seminar.
