9/13 - Rocheport MO Preparing Fiber for Spin -Offs and Fleece Shows: Preparing Fiber for Spin -Offs and Fleece Shows
Always wanted to send to a fleece show or a spin-off, but were just not sure about how to do it? This class teaches how to prepare your entries. Spin-offs and fleece shows give the producer invaluable information about their alpacas.
We will explore histograms and what information they give the breeder. Knowing how to read a histogram and how to use the information gives a breeder another important tool.
Participates will put together several bags, of their fiber, ready to send to a spin-off. They will learn the proper way to prepare and send a fleece show entry. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fleece to work on.
Lunch will be served. $30 per person
Limited Space
Participants need to bring blanket fiber they would like to submit to spin-offs. They may bring their won fleece to work on. We will have fleeces and fiber here.
