XC Alpacas is located in Galt, California, 30 miles south of Sacramento, and is owned by Xavier and Cheryl Ordez. Xavier's co-worker, Karen, had pictures of these cute critters on her desk, and after many conversations, and a lot of research, we decided that the alpaca lifestyle was just perfect for us!
We purchased our first alpacas a four years ago, and at the time, didn't even own a place to put them! In 2005, we purchased our ranch and brought our alpacas home! In just a few years our ranch has grown by leaps and bounds!
