Payment Terms
We respect the fact that not everyone can pay cash for an Alpaca. They can be a significant investment for most people.

Below are terms listed that are just some general parameters to give you an idea of where to start. We work with every customer based on their individual needs, respectfully and discretely.

WE ACCEPT VISA/MC/DISCOVER/AMEX, PayPal, CASH, certified BANK check, WIRE transfer, farm check, personal check or money order. WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM DEPOSIT OF THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE AS FOLLOWS:

Here are our INTEREST-FREE terms (Full mortality insurance on the purchased alpaca is required):

5% down and paid in full within 30 days.
10% down & paid in full within 60 days.
15% down & paid in full within 90 days.
20% down & paid in full within 6 months in 2 quarterly payments.
25% down & paid in full within 1 year in 3 quarterly payments.


Alpacas financed after one year will be agreed upon in advance,for up to two years, at a fair market rate.

As is standard practice, possession and ownership of alpaca(s) shall be transferred upon payment in full.

We will be happy to talk about alternative financing that works for you. There are many options available. Let us know what works best for you!

Shipping Terms
We also offer free board for THREE months with the purchase of alpacas from our breeding program. Pet/Fiber quality alpacas will be agisted for up to 30 days free of charge if purchased alone or with other pet/fiber quality animals.

We will transport animals that are purchased FREE of charge within a certain distance, and purchase minimum. Please call to discuss.

Returns, Guarantees & Warrantees
We offer live birth guarantees and warranties, and full reproductive capability for our females and males (sold as herdsires or jr. herdsires).

Bred females are sold with a complimentary breed back to any male solely owned by C R Alpacas, Inc. Maiden females come with a free breeding at breeding age to any male solely-owned by C R Alpacas, Inc.

Pre-purchase exams are available at the buyers expense.

Discounts available for multiple breedings scheduled and contracted within a 12 month period. Discount available on multiple purchases.

All alpacas are registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc.

Pet/Fiber quality males are sold without ARI Certificates. An upgrade option is available for Pet/Fiber males as specified in the contract agreement and if fulfilled and the upgrade is paid for, then the ARI certificate shall be transfered.

If we do not have the terms you are looking for, please ask. We are willing to match most any terms and guarantees within the industry! We want our customers to be comfortable and happy before and after their purchase.

Other Terms & Conditions

Gift Certificates are good for one(1) year from date of purchase.
Must be used to purchase products from our gift shop - no cash exchange or refunds.

Ship via best way USPS, UPS or FEDEX. Effective January, 2005, the new sales tax law in Ohio requires us to charge the sales tax for the Ohio county of the "shipped to" address. However, if purchased and shipped out of state or picked up at our gift shop, sales tax will be at the Geauga County Rate.

All items purchased on SALE are final and sold AS IS - NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS. However, if not completely satisfied with any FULL retail priced purchased items from C R Alpacas, Inc. Gift Shop or On-Line Farm Store, let us know within 5 days of receipt and return your merchandise in its original packaging & undamaged condition within 15 days of receipt along with a copy of your sales receipt and we shall exchange the merchandise for another "in stock" item in our gift shop of equal or greater value or refund your money less a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. When you order any item that was stated as not in stock, you will be charged the Pay Pal refund fee of $.30.

Shipments arriving with damaged or missing merchandise must be reported to us within 5 days so we can assist you with the claim process. We cannot issue an exchange for merchandise which is damaged before or on its way back to us or which we do not receive. To be sure that your return qualifies for an exchange, we strongly suggest that it be sent via an insured shipping method such as USPS Insured Priority Mail or UPS.

Wholesale, commercial and special/sale priced purchase orders are not eligible for any refund.
