Inka Peruvian Chipchiy

Beige, 804332, Full Peruvian

Inka Peruvian Chipchiy, elegant daughter of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Full Accoyo who just sold for $600,000) and PPPeruvian Chiffon, displays perfect conformation and a dense fleece of lustrous and fine beige fiber. She carries herself with pride, even a touch of arrogance. Chippie is an attentive mother with abundant milk. Bred to our award-winning herdsire, PHAR Traveler, 1/2 Accoyo, she produced an awesome beige male in June with incredible fiber and flawless conformation.

Update: Chipchiy has produced another winner! Bred to PH Camelot's Challenger, she gave birth to an fantastic dark fawn male. Photos coming. Chipchiy has been bred to our 3 time NECC Black Champion, Quarry Ridge Zorro for a June 2007 cria. Let's see if her Royal Fawn genetics cover black!

  PH Camelot's Challenger
    Dark Brown, 844532, Full Peruvian

PH Camelot's Challenger, our dark brown male with black points, won his first two Blue Ribbons and a Color Championship at eight months of age and took his third Blue Ribbon at the 2004 North American Alpaca Show as the youngest yearling in a class of 14. He then went on to take a 2nd Place at the highly competitive 2004 All American Alpaca Futurity, a 2nd Place in composite at the 2004 AOBA Nationals and another Blue Ribbon at the 2004 Empire Extravaganza. And, just recently, he earned his fifth Blue Ribbon at the 2005 North American Alpaca Show and his sixth under Dr. Julio Sumar at the 2005 MaPaca Jubilee, the world's largest show with 1,600 halter entries. He has solid bone and crimpy fine dense fleece with incredible coverage from his nose to his toes. His one year staple length at the 2004 shearing measured almost seven inches and we sheared over 10 pounds of fleece off him in 2005! All these qualities are hard to find in a dark animal. Challenger's sire, 5P Camel

  Micron Count
2008: AFD 21.6, SD 3.3, CV 15.4, >30 1.3

"This little guy is a fiber machine", exclaimed Amanda VandenBosch as she awarded him the blue ribbon at the North American Alpaca show. Exi is a bundle of lustrous, crimpy fiber from head to toe. And his head is one of the best we have ever seen! At two weeks of age, he came in limping at dinner time. An x-ray revealed that he had broken his right hind leg at the growth plate. We'll never know how. But after months of splinting and physical therapy, and grit on his part, he recovered almost completely. So we were doubley proud when he won his first blue ribbon.

Exi hails from some very prestigious bloodines. His dam is a ROYAL FAWN daughter, mother of 6 award-winning crias. And his sire is a PH CAMELOT'S CHALLENGER who has won his own championships and ribbons in the show ring.

Exi was not shown last Fall and this Spring due to a case of mites which caused fiber loss on his legs. But the fiber has grown in and he will be shown this Fall.

We will reserve breedings to Exi when he is sold.
