Lady Gertrude S. Woldbrook

Pattern, 824753, 1/2 Chilean, Other/Unknown

Gertrude is a solid female with outstanding off spring. She is true black with white on her face and a Tux down her chest. When bred to black males she has produced solid black but not this year, girl was white with a brown blanket with grey/white mix and black toes. When bred to gray has produced gray & black and she gave us a dark brown out of our medium fawn herd sire. She is easy going in nature and has had effortless births. If you are looking to breed for black and gray and want a female able to deliver both-then this is your girl. Gertie is bred to our True Black Lexington, looking for another super baby from this pairing. Her cria have high IgG's over 2000, vigorous growth, and benefit from her outstanding mothering skills. Gertie is a very nice, gentle girl to work with. Loves to eat carrots or apples from your hand. Gertie is an older girl, but she throws wonderful babies. Gertie has dense fleece but not as soft as her younger years, but her babies have a very soft handle

  Cherokee Hills' Lexington
    True Black, 823963, Full Chilean

Lexington's dense, shiny, and crimpy fleece is almost blue black with excellent handle - he was awarded blue ribbons at the 2002 Alpacapalooza Fleece Show and the 2001 WABA Alpaca Adventure Fleece Show for his excellent fleece. His friendly personality and nice disposition are the crowning touches. Lex's family tree is full of blue ribbon winners, brothers, sisters, dam and sire. Lex is unproven and we want to change that, so call soon for a breeding. Lex has proven that he can get it done. WOW, what a girl, beautiful fleece, dense, confirmation, great crimp and so soft. Can't wait to see how her fleece grows out. First 2 pictures are courtesy of Cherokee Hills' Alpacas. Lex has been rebred to our Lady Gertude for 2009 baby.

Lady Di is a super fine dense fleeced girl with great confirmation and super crimp. If you like pattern (Pinto's) alpacas, she's your girl. Di has a blue ring on the outside of her eye and should be bred to a dark male only. She has Loganberry and Trinidad bloodlines and a very colorful back ground. Di's bloodlines come from the West Coast. Di also has black boots and a dark spot on the top of her head. Her fleece has a very long length to it, can't see it in the pictures shown. Her color is changing in her blanket, looks rose grey, silver, black brown(coat of many colors). Di is now shorn and looks different without her blanket. She is so pretty and everyone just loves her color and looks. Breeding included in sale to our Snowmass Legacy Gold's Mlikigo aka Kigo.
Di had a 15.8 lb boy today, doing great.
