Indian Creek's Kaya

Medium Fawn, 1030136, 1/4 Bolivian, 1/2 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Kaya is a fawn female with lots of curb appeal. As Pete says, "she's a looker!" She has excellent conformation and a family tree that any alpaca would be proud of. She has very dense and crimpy fleece, probably the densest female on our farm. She also has lots of presence, and a beautiful "typey" head. Visitors always ask about Kaya.

Kaya's grandfathers include Caligula and Mr. Know It All.
Kaya has given birth to three fantastic little girls with bright ringlet type fleece that has the "nutritious" feel we all hope to find. They were easy births and Kaya has had plenty of milk. She is an intelligent and attentive mom.

  El Bello's Renegade
    White, 1206043, 1/4 Chilean, 3/4 Peruvian

Renegade is now white, but started off as a beige, so we know the color from his mom's side is still there in those genes. Renegade's fleece is just amazing. He is a dense mass of lusterous crimp all the way up into his topknot and down his legs. He has the fleece characteristics of his "Studmaster*" father, and the density reflective of his accoyo lineage on both sides. His coverage is complete to his toes, and check out his fiber stats!

We always knew Rene would be an early breeder; he thought he was ready at 6 weeks of age when he earned the nickname "Mr. Humpy". Actually he is already trying to live up to the Studmaster title.

Rene has ribboned at halter in two extemely large white classes, and if you've ever shown, you know how difficult that is!

His micron at three years old is 20.5, with a comfort factor of 96.5%.
His micron at 6 years old is 21.2, with a comfort factor of 94.8%!

Brule' is a trout fishing river, and in French the word means "burnt". We named her Brule' because as you can see from her photo she has a very dark brown tip on her left ear. For some unexplicable reason, Pete has nicknamed her "Cookie" and it stuck. "Cookie" is way up there on the cute factor, and has fine bright fleece with elite character.

This is her mother's third girl for us, all from the same sire, our El Bello's Renegade. Brule' has perhaps the brightest densest fleece of all three girls, and her headset is just perfect.

As with all our females, she is sold with a complimentary breeding.

  Awards Received
4th Place Juvenile Beige Class, MOPACA 2011. Judge Kristen Buhrman was very complimentary of her stylish looks and fine bright fleece.
